How the Top Poker Players Prove That Poker is a Game of Skill

It's been known by poker players for years that skill has a very important role in the game of poker. But Poker stars made a step in order to clarify the thoughts of millions by having a survey. And it's been verified that poker is truly a game of expertise.
But the poker masters found a less scientific way to prove this long ago theory and that would be their display during the 2009 WSOP wherein a bunch of them won events and not just one event for each but multiple ones! It really shows the expertise of the players.
One master who showed how skillful he is from this event was King of Stud Jeff Lisandro. Can you believe that he won a bracelet for the entire Stud Poker variant available in the WSOP? Yes, he did and that would include the 7-Card-Stud, 7-Card-Stud Hi/Lo and Razz variants.
Lisandro is not the only one who got famous in the 2009 WSOP. There's Thang Luu who already grabbed 2nd placed on the $2,500 Omaha 8 tournament in 2007; then he won the $1,500 Omaha 8 tournament in 2008 and won again in the 2009 WSOP for the same event!
Ever since the creation of poker, the players on tournaments have increase and it would be unlikely for a player to win an event, much less winning multiple events unless they have an advantage against their opponents.
Those two examples are just a few of the evidences that skill is a worthy must-have on poker. Check out the others below:
Phil Ivey who won his 6th and 7th bracelets.   John Brock Parker who managed to grabbed the 6-Max Limit and 6-Max No Limit titles.   Roland De Wolfe who accomplished the triple crown by winning the WSOP bracelet. He already got his EPT and WPT wins in the past few years.   Professional player Greg Mueller got hold of the title of the 10k Limit Hold 'Em and Limit Hold 'Em shootout. He was once a hockey player turned pro.   Two masters cashed in 7 events each named Daniel Negreanu and Barry Greenstein.   All this triumphs happened before the Main Event has taken place. Capturing the title of the most prestigious event in poker will cement the legacy of a poker player in the community.
Regardless of the events that will happen, it is establish that the 2009 WSOP is the year of the poker pros. Even the amateurs have their time to shine if their fortunate enough - anyone can win in poker.
Keep in mind that the masters have a technique so that amateurs will not shy away from them on a given event: showing the times that the amateur comes out on top with a hand at the same time hiding their arm full of WSOP bracelets behind their back.
For those who doubt that skill is definitely an important factor in poker then they need to check out the undisputable evidences shown during the 2009 WSOP.
